I Woke Up In

I Woke Up In The Puppet Show

by Riley Vex

Cody Marshall wakes up in his own house, except the walls are painted flats, the colors are too bright, and there are six-foot-tall puppets sitting at his kitchen table. They know his name. They're thrilled he's here. He's "today's friend" on a children's educational puppet show that has swallowed his entire neighborhood. He can't skip segments, can't leave the set, and can't stop singing along when the music starts. The puppets aren't mean. They're nice. That's the problem. Funny-creepy horror for the Goosebumps generation.
